Good bike, easy setup

I got the 16-Inch Belt Drive Kids' Bike for my nephew last month. It came pretty fast, took maybe 4 days to get to my place. Setting it up was straightforward, only took about 15 minutes. He loves riding it around the park. Definitely a good purchase.

Happy with 20-inch bike

Ordered the 20-Inch Belt Drive Kids' Bike. Arrived on time. Quality feels solid. Kid adjusted to it quickly. No issues with anything, good experience overall.

Smooth experience, nice bike

I bought a 24-Inch Belt Drive Kids' Bike for my daughter a few weeks ago, and it's been great. Ordering was simple on their website, and delivery was quicker than I expected – it showed up in about five days. The bike itself is really well made, super light, which was a big plus for us. Assembly wasn't hard at all; pretty much just put on the pedals and adjust the seat. My daughter took to it right away, she says it's much easier to ride than her old chain bike. The belt drive is surprisingly quiet too. Haven't needed customer support, so I can't speak to that, but the product and delivery were both top-notch.

Is Belsize Official a legit company? Haven't heard of them before but the bikes look cool.

J James 2 months ago

Yeah, they're legit. Got two bikes from them. No issues.

G Gwen L. 2 months ago

definitely real. they're known for the belt drive bikes. a lot of people like them more than the traditional chain ones for kids.

Are there any active coupon codes right now? Looking to buy a 16-inch for my daughter's birthday next month.

S Sam 2 months ago

Check their newsletter signup, sometimes they give you a code for your first purchase. That's how I got $50 off a while back.

A Amber 2 months ago

i think around christmas or black friday is when they do bigger sales. outside of that, the newsletter is probably your best bet unless you find a random single-use code somewhere.

What's the return policy like if the bike isn't a good fit? Just curious in case it doesn't work out.

A Anna Foster 2 months ago

Returns were easy, I had to send back a helmet and it was no fuss.

as long as it's unused and in the original packaging, you should be fine. i think you just contact them and they'll sort it out, but double check the exact timeframe on their site.

Hey guys, thinking of getting the 20-inch for my kid. How long did shipping take for you all? I'm in Chicago.

N Neil 2 months ago

Mine got to me in LA in about a week. Shipped pretty fast actually.

P Priya J. 2 months ago

i think it depends, i'm on the east coast and it was closer to 8-9 days for the 16-inch. chicago might be similar.

Does anyone know if these bikes are really worth the price compared to like, a Prevelo or Frog bike? My friend swears by them but they're a bit more spendy.

T Todd 2 months ago

Totally worth it! The belt drive is a game changer, no greasy chains. My kid loves it, much lighter than his old bike too. Prevelo is good but Belsize felt better built to me.

N Neil 2 months ago

eh, depends on your kid and budget. both are good bikes. Belsize is super light and the belt drive is nice for maintenance, but you can't go wrong with either really. Woom is another one to look at too.

Are Belsize bikes actually easy to put together? I'm not super handy and worried about a complicated build.

G Gwen 1 month ago

Yeah, super easy. Mine was mostly assembled, just had to pop on the front wheel and handlebars. Took like 15 minutes max.

R Ryan 1 month ago

it's pretty straightforward, they give you some tools too. nothing crazy to worry about unless you've never touched a bike before lol.
